The Wisdom of Not-Knowing
A Daylong Retreat

Saturday, April 19th, 2008, 10am-4:30pm, $80

Loch has found that many students experience disorientation in the gap between not knowing and a new way of knowing and doing as Beingness. Once awakening is recognized it unfolds by itself, but this is not a passive process. There is a new dynamic curious way of being and seeing: natural inquiry.

Natural inquiry is a new way of knowing. It is the way Being relates. It is the way the Heart-Mind sees. It is a not-knowing that knows and acts without an ego manager. Getting the feel for this way of not-knowing knowingness allows awakening to go beyond the point of being a spiritual experience.

Natural inquiry explores:

  • How to know without getting a second opinion from the conceptual mind
  • How to find safety in the ground of being, rather than scanning for danger
  • How to speak so the words come to the heart-knowing through the field of being
  • How painful feelings and unpleasant emotions are welcomed by new identity rather than defended against
  • How to do not doing, how to stop, how to rest and find the first glimpse of not knowing
