Embodied Awareness
A Daylong Retreat
Sunday, October 14th, 2007, 10:30am-5:00pm, $80
Optional one hour Yoga class with Jill Satterfield starts at 9:00am and is complimentary with registration
Many of us have had glimpses of Awake Awareness. It is often initially experienced as a transcendent
waking up from our habitual mind's grasp and waking out of the story of me, waking up
from a dream and out of exclusive identification with the body-mind. However, until this waking
includes daily life, we bounce back and forth finding it and losing it. When this initial freedom
returns home below the neck, there is a waking down that includes everything and sees
through the eyes of the heart.
Loch will draw upon practices from Zen, Advaita, Dzogchen, Mahamudra, and offer
fresh, living
inquiry and simple direct doorways into the freedom of natural wakefulness.
Join in the deep silence as it learns to speak and live this life.
Yoga mats will be available, but please bring your own if you have one.
